Lead Financial Risk Management Product Owner
A leading clearing house focused on options is looking to bring on a Product Owner to their Financial Risk Management team.
This person will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and enhancement of their risk management platforms, partnering closely with Financial Risk Management, Quantitative Risk, Model Risk, and Technology teams. This individual will own the product road map, prioritize development efforts, gather stakeholder requirements, and lead key risk technology initiatives that support their broader risk management framework.
This ideal hire will have at least 2 years of experience in product management, preferably with risk management products (equities, commodities, FX, volatility, interest rates, etc.) and have experience as a Product Owner.
Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact between FRM and other stakeholders
- Partner with the technology team to ensure the process runs smoothly and understanding it aligned with product needs
- Optimize product delivery
- Work with Model Risk Management and Quant Risk to make sure all models and methodologies are operating correctly
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in product management with a strong understanding of risk products (equities, commodities, interest rates, FX, volatility, etc.)
- Product owner experience in agile methodology
- Graduate degree in field that corresponds with (MBA, MS, etc)
- Ideally 7+ years of experience in financial services
