A leading independent advisory firm specializing in strategic financial advice to financial institutions is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Analyst to join its growing investment banking team focused on the FIG space. The firm advises on high‑profile mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, strategic evaluations, and complex financial transactions.
The Experienced Analyst will play a key role in supporting live transactions and strategic advisory mandates. The position offers significant exposure to senior bankers and clients, providing an opportunity to work on market‑leading deals in the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation modelling, and transaction structuring.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and industry research to support strategic advisory mandates.
- Assist in the execution of live M&A transactions, including due diligence coordination, process management, and documentation review.
- Perform comparative analyses, precedent transactions, and market‑mapping exercises.
- Work closely with senior team members to develop insights and strategic recommendations for clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-3 years of investment banking, corporate finance, or Big 4 corporate finance experience.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, merger models, trading comps).
- Demonstrated experience working on M&A or capital markets transactions.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple workstreams with exceptional attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in the financial services sector and strategic advisory work.
