Investment Banking Experienced Analyst - Media & Communications
Our client is an Elite Boutique who is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join their Media & Communications team in New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a high-performing group at an elite boutique investment bank, advising leading companies across the media, entertainment, telecom, and digital communications sectors. While direct TMT experience is not required, candidates must have a strong foundation in investment banking and a passion for the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior bankers in the execution of M&A transactions, capital markets deals, and strategic advisory mandates
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, trading comps), and industry research
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials
- Participate in due diligence processes and deal execution activities
- Monitor industry trends and maintain sector-specific knowledge relevant to media and communications
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of investment banking experience at a reputable firm
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in the media and communications space
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with strong academic performance
