Energy & Infrastructure Investment Banking Analyst
Location: Texas (Houston or Dallas)
A growing investment banking platform is seeking an Analyst to support M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements across the Energy & Infrastructure sector. The role offers exposure to a broad range of transactions within oil & gas, energy services, and related infrastructure markets while working closely with senior bankers in a lean team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, LBO, comparable company, precedent transaction, and industry-specific valuation analyses.
- Support execution of M&A and capital markets transactions from marketing through closing.
- Prepare pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and board materials.
- Conduct industry, market, and company research across the energy landscape.
- Manage due diligence processes, virtual data rooms, and transaction workflows.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Prior exposure to Energy, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas sectors preferred.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with significant client exposure.
