Head of Compliance
A fast‑growing digital wallet and crypto exchange is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead its EU‑wide compliance function. This role is ideal for a hands‑on compliance leader with strong experience engaging the AMF and navigating MiCA and broader EU regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary compliance lead for all EU operations, serving as the main contact for AMF and other regulators.
- Oversee compliance with MiCA, MiFID II, AML/CTF, market abuse, and other relevant EU rules.
- Build, enhance, and maintain the firm's compliance framework, policies, and monitoring program.
- Lead regulatory filings, licensing processes, and ongoing supervisory interactions.
- Provide strategic compliance guidance to senior leadership as the company scales.
- Partner with internal teams to embed compliance into product, risk, and operational workflows.
- Develop and grow the compliance function as regulatory complexity increases.
Requirements
- 8+ years' compliance experience in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services.
- Direct experience working with the AMF; ACPR exposure a plus.
- Strong knowledge of MiCA and EU digital‑asset regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- English required; French strongly preferred.
