Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Associate to join our Credit Sales team in Frankfurt. The role focuses on covering institutional clients across the DACH region, providing high-quality execution and advisory across Investment Grade (IG), High Yield (HY), and Emerging Market (EM) credit products. The successful candidate will leverage strong client relationships and market expertise to drive revenue growth and deepen wallet share.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for institutional clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Market and distribute a broad range of credit products, including IG, HY, and EM bonds.
- Generate trade ideas and provide market intelligence tailored to client portfolios.
- Collaborate closely with trading desks to ensure competitive pricing and seamless execution.
- Maintain and expand strategic relationships with asset managers, insurance companies, and pension funds in the DACH region.
- Support new issue distribution and secondary market flow.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Fluent German speaker with strong communication skills in English.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit sales or related roles within fixed income markets.
- Proven track record of managing institutional relationships across the DACH region.
- Strong product knowledge across IG, HY, and EM credit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
