THE OPPORTUNITY
A leading global financial institution is expanding its Fund Finance platform and is seeking a high‑calibre Sales & Origination professional to help drive the next phase of growth. The team already has a strong, technically capable group of structurers in place. This hire will focus on the commercial, client‑facing, and revenue generating side of the business.
This is a rare opportunity to join a strategic build‑out at an early stage, where you will own client relationships, originate new financing opportunities, and help shape the commercial direction of a growing platform.
ROLE SUMMARY
The successful candidate will originate and manage relationships with GPs and LPs across Europe, identifying opportunities across the full spectrum of fund financing products. You will be responsible for developing deep client engagement, understanding financing needs throughout the fund life cycle, and partnering with expert structurers to deliver tailored solutions.
This role suits a commercially minded professional with a strong grasp of private markets, structured lending, and GP/LP‑driven financing dynamics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Origination & Client Coverage
- Own and expand relationships with GPs and LPs across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate and secondaries.
- Identify and originate new financing opportunities across:
- Subscription/capital call facilities
- NAV facilities
- Hybrid/umbrella structures
- GP and management company financing
- Secondary transaction financing (LP‑led and GP‑led)
- Portfolio/asset level lending
- Lead commercial dialogue with partners, CFOs, treasurers, and investment teams.
