Senior/Lead Front End Developer (GUI, HTML5)
Our client is a global bank looking to hire a Senior Front End Developer (GUI, HTML5) to lead the design and development of a new sales trader workflow platform. This is a brand-new headcount with the opportunity to shape the front-end architecture and potentially build a small team. The role sits directly in the Front Office with compensation and bonus aligned accordingly.
Responsibilities of Senior/Lead Front End Developer (GUI, HTML5)
- Re-architect and re-write the front-end for a new sales trader workflow platform.
- Collaborate closely with senior traders, product teams, and back-end developers.
- Design intuitive, low-latency UIs tailored to the needs of sales and trading.
- Define and implement notification systems, pricing interfaces, and workflow tools.
- Work cross-regionally with teams in London and Singapore.
Requirements of Senior/Lead Front End Developer (GUI, HTML5)
- Strong experience in GUI development, ideally with HTML5 and frameworks like OpenFin.
- Background in FX or Rates trading systems.
- Deep understanding of sales trader workflows and front office environments.
- Experience designing and building pricing systems or similar trading tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, strategic environment with direct trader interaction.
- Leadership potential to build and manage a small team of GUI/UX developers.
