FP&A Lead
Lead FP&A Responsibilities:
As our Lead Financial Planning, you will:
- Own the company-wide annual planning, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling processes
- Develop and maintain robust financial models and dashboards to track KPIs and business performance
- Partner cross-functionally with department heads to provide financial insights and decision support
- Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue, margin, and operating expenses
- Prepare executive-ready reporting and financial packages for leadership and board presentations
Strategic and Growth Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements to scale FP&A tools, templates, and routines
- Lead the development of automated reporting and scenario modeling to support strategic planning
- Play a key role in evaluating business cases, pricing, and capital allocation decisions
- Act as a financial advisor to senior leadership and provide proactive recommendations
Team Development (Future State)
- Develop a vision and structure for a scalable FP&A team, aligned with company growth
- Mentor and coach junior analysts as team expands
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of future FP&A hires
- Establish team workflows, performance metrics, and reporting standards
Lead FP&A Requirements:
You're a fit for the role of Lead Financial Planning if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA a plus)
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, preferably in a high-growth or complex business environment
- Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience with analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Profix, etc. )
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and executive teams
