Fixed Income Electronic Trading Engineer

A global investment bank is looking to add a Software Engineer to its Fixed Income Electronic Trading technology team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with front-office stakeholders to deliver high-performance systems supporting real-time trading across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance trading applications using C# and .NET
- Build both client-side and server-side components for pricing, order management, and trade execution workflows
- Support systems responsible for real-time price distribution and RFQ processing
- Partner with traders, sales, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to system design and implementation of scalable, maintainable architectures
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through production support
- Write high-quality, testable code aligned with engineering best practices
- Assist with production support, including troubleshooting time-sensitive trading issues
- Work within Agile frameworks and contribute to CI/CD and release processes
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong proficiency in C# / .NET development
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Exposure to concurrent or multithreaded systems
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products or capital markets
- Experience working on electronic trading platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and build pipelines
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks and ORM tools
