Finance Manager/AVP
Overview
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and develop finance team members.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
- Partner with business stakeholders on financial and accounting matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 6+ years of accounting experience, with supervisory or managerial exposure.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, corporate accounting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing audits and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
