Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuations and analysis
- Mentoring and training of analyst position
- Assist in preparation of marketing materials, memorandums and other transaction-related documents for investment banking assignments
- Analyze companies' financial and operational performance and build financial models depicting a company's historical and future results
- Write offering memorandums describing a company's strategy and growth prospects
- Conduct industry and company-specific research and due diligence related to transactions
- Conduct financial and written research and analysis in evaluating potential acquisitions and strategic growth opportunities
- Assist with due diligence investigations for clients and prospect companies
- Participate in client meetings, and other client interactions as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a finance, accounting or business-related concentration, MBA preferred
- Prior experience of at least two years of deal execution team experience either an investment bank
- Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills; must be an expert in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated interest in lower and middle market investment banking, with a working knowledge of diversified industrial sectors is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels in an organization
- Self-starter who can work hard, manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities when needed
- Strong organizational skills - detail oriented
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently as well as being a team player
- FINRA SIE, 63 and 79 licenses will be required
- Ability to travel as needed
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
