Equity Derivatives Sales (Warrants/CBBCs)
Key Responsibilities
Client Coverage & Sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers, private banks, online trading platforms, market makers, and institutional intermediaries.
- Drive daily flow in warrants/CBBCs, focusing on product education, market color, and tactical trade ideas.
- Execute sales campaigns and product launches aligned with market themes (earnings, indices, sector rotations, volatility regimes).
- Provide live sales commentary during market hours (HKEX sessions), including intraday updates, product availability, and pricing.
Product & Market
- Collaborate with structuring and trading to design and prioritise product issuance (strike selection, gearing, effective duration, delta, implied vol, time-to-maturity).
- Monitor and interpret market microstructure (order book, spreads, turnover, greeks behavior) to optimize product shelf and lifecycle.
- Track competitor activity and market share dynamics; suggest tactical levers (pricing, marketing, shelf refresh) to defend and grow share.
Distribution & Marketing
- Partner with marketing to create educational content (webinars, short-form videos, infographics) and sales collateral tailored to retail and professional investors.
- Coordinate platform promotions and co-branded campaigns with channel partners to increase visibility and conversion.
- Organize client training on risk characteristics of leverage products (knock-out features, time decay, path dependency).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master's/CFA a plus.
- 4+ years experience in EQD sales, structured products, market making, or related roles. (We can adapt for junior or senior profiles.)
- Strong product knowledge of warrants, CBBCs, options, and equity indices; understanding of greeks and pricing drivers (volatility, time, delta).
- Familiarity with HK retail distribution and platform ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, market data terminals, and Excel; Python/VBA/SQL is an advantage for analytics and reporting.
