Energy & Natural Resources - M&A
An international bank is seeking a high-performing Associate or Junior VP to join their Energy and Natural Resrouces team in Singapore. This role will support origination, structuring, and execution of transactions across the energy, utilities, and natural resources sectors in APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deal origination and execution across sectors including renewables, LNG, power, and critical minerals.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for M&A and structured finance transactions.
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and internal approval materials.
- Collaborate with product teams (DCM, ECM, Structured Finance) and coverage bankers across APAC.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments in energy transition and natural resources.
- Assist in strategic planning and market mapping for the ETNR sector.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or corporate finance, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or natural resources.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with APAC energy markets and sustainability trends is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA/CFA preferred.
