Digital Assets Product Lead - NYC

An industry-leading financial institution is seeking a seasoned Product Leader to help shape the future of digital market infrastructure and next-generation financial products.

This individual will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and scaling innovative solutions across tokenized assets, digital cash, collateral management, settlement, funding, financing, and emerging distributed ledger technologies. Sitting at the intersection of product management, capital markets, technology, regulation, and strategy, this role offers the opportunity to influence how institutional financial markets evolve in the years ahead.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in financial markets with a strong understanding of digital assets and market structure, and has a proven ability to translate complex concepts into commercially viable products that deliver measurable client and business value.

This is a highly strategic product leadership role focused on building institutional-grade solutions and driving adoption across global financial markets.

Key Objectives

Within the first year, this individual will be expected to:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for priority digital asset initiatives.
• Identify high-impact opportunities across tokenization, digital collateral, settlement, digital cash, funding, and financing ecosystems.
• Build compelling business cases and operating models that support scalable adoption.
• Partner across business, technology, operations, legal, risk, and compliance teams to deliver new capabilities from concept through launch.
• Generate measurable commercial, operational, and client outcomes through successful product execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the digital assets product vision, strategy, and execution roadmap.
• Assess emerging market opportunities, client demand, industry developments, and regulatory considerations.
• Design, develop, and commercialize innovative solutions that modernize financial market infrastructure.
• Establish target operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation strategies.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, operations, compliance, legal, finance, and risk stakeholders.
• Engage with external industry participants, technology providers, infrastructure partners, and broader digital asset ecosystems.
• Drive product innovation through proof-of-concepts, pilots, MVPs, and full-scale production deployments.
• Present product strategy, business cases, and program progress to executive leadership and governance committees.
• Serve as a thought leader on the future of digital assets, tokenization, and institutional market infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, strategic initiatives, market infrastructure, transformation, or related financial services disciplines.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, securities financing, collateral management, custody, settlement, payments, treasury, or market infrastructure workflows.
• Deep knowledge of tokenization, digital assets, digital cash, stablecoins, distributed ledger technologies, and emerging financial market ecosystems.
• Experience leading large-scale, front-to-back initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups and business functions.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and delivering strategic programs within complex organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify practical market opportunities and drive measurable business outcomes.

• Digital asset, tokenization, or blockchain-focused product organizations.
• Exchanges, clearing organizations, custodians, or market infrastructure providers.
