Data Center Engineer
We're partnering with a leading, technology-driven firm to add a Data Center Engineer to their infrastructure team. This is a highly hands-on role focused on supporting and scaling mission-critical data center environments, where reliability, precision, and performance are key.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the integrity and uptime of global data center environments
- Perform rack and stack, hardware installations, and decommissioning
- Execute structured cabling across network and server infrastructure
- Monitor environmental conditions including power, cooling, and airflow
- Support and maintain optimal A/C and power systems within facilities
- Contribute to data center expansion and capacity planning initiatives
- Own and maintain accurate documentation within DCIM tools
- Perform Windows and Linux server administration tasks
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center engineering or operations
- Strong background in rack and stack and network infrastructure cabling
- Experience with enterprise hardware (HP, Dell, IBM servers; SAN; Cisco equipment)
- Exposure to backup technologies and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in production environments
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and with external partners
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- Experience maintaining clear and accurate technical documentation
