About the role:
We are partnering with a leading hedge fund to hire an experienced C++ developer for their trading
technology team. This role focuses on designing and optimizing ultra-low-latency systems that power high-frequency and systematic trading strategies. You will work in a fast-paced environment where performance
and reliability are critical, collaborating closely with traders and quantitative researchers to deliver cuttingedge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance high-performance C++ components for real-time trading and market connectivity.
- Optimize existing code for speed, scalability, and fault tolerance under production conditions.
- Collaborate with trading and research teams to design infrastructure supporting advanced strategies.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment, in an agile setup.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or later).
- Expertise in multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Experience in low-latency environments such as trading, networking, or real-time systems.
- Solid Linux development background and familiarity with networking protocols.
- Prior exposure to quantitative finance or proprietary trading is a strong advantage
