Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing
We recently partnered with a dynamic and growing manufacturing company headquartered in South Carolina, committed to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering high-quality products to their customers. As they scale, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and partner with executive leadership to drive sustainable growth.
Role Overview:
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and capital structure. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and supply chain finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support business objectives.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance functions.
- Develop and manage financial reporting systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Drive cost optimization and margin improvement across manufacturing operations.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to align financial goals with production efficiency.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial leadership for M&A activity, capital investments, and expansion initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as CFO or senior financial executive in a manufacturing environment.
- 10+ years of Finance experience within Accounting and Finance
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, procurment, HR. IT, Accounting, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
