Business & Data Migration Analyst - Operations
This role focuses on supporting a major operational transition by managing business and data requirements during the migration from an existing service provider to a new one. The analyst will ensure data integrity and readiness for a future operating model while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with project teams to support User Acceptance Testing, Model Office, and Pilot testing.
- Design test scenarios and scripts with subject matter experts to validate operational processes for data, trades, corporate actions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Perform data reconciliation on migration datasets, independently validating and explaining discrepancies.
- Develop future business process maps and assist in drafting new Standard Operating Procedures.
- Gather requirements from SMEs and stakeholders using structured elicitation techniques.
- Analyze and validate requirements systematically, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct impact assessments to compare current and future processes, systems, and structures.
- Perform data cleansing and standardization to maintain consistency and quality.
- Identify gaps, propose resolutions, and document requirements using industry-standard notations.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and secure formal sign-offs on documentation.
- Liaise with service providers to clarify requirements and solution limitations.
- Provide ad hoc analysis support across workstreams as needed.
