Title: Product Owner/Business Analyst, Multi-Asset Investment Platforms

Role Overview

This Product Owner will play a key role in driving the evolution of front-office investment platforms supporting Multi-Asset investment teams. Acting as the bridge between investment stakeholders and technology delivery teams, you will define priorities, manage product backlogs, and ensure the delivery of capabilities that enhance portfolio management, investment decision-making, risk oversight, and operational efficiency.
The position offers extensive exposure to portfolio managers, quantitative specialists, risk teams, and technology stakeholders across a global investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of product roadmaps.
  • Engage directly with portfolio managers, investment specialists, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.
  • Lead requirement gathering, workshops, and discovery sessions to define business needs and desired outcomes.
  • Support initiatives across portfolio construction, investment analytics, risk management, portfolio monitoring, and trade implementation workflows.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, change adoption, and communication throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor delivery outcomes and promote continuous improvement across investment processes and technology platforms.

Key Requirements

  • Experience within investment management technology, front-office change, product ownership, business analysis, or related roles.
  • Proven experience operating in Agile delivery environments as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Asset investment strategies and portfolio management processes.
  • Experience working directly with portfolio managers, investment teams, or front-office stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the investment lifecycle and supporting technology ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise backlogs and manage competing stakeholder requirements.
  • Experience delivering complex technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively across global teams and multiple time zones.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of portfolio construction and optimisation methodologies.
  • Experience with strategic and tactical asset allocation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with performance attribution, risk analytics, and benchmark management.
  • Understanding of quantitative or systematic investment processes.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CIPM, Agile Product Owner, or Scrum certifications.
