AVP, Project Finance Credit Risk
A Global Investment Bank is seeking an AVP to join their Project Finance Credit Risk team in New York. This individual will prepare credit underwriting, monitor a portfolio of existing deals and borrower performance, and present credit recommendations to senior leadership. The candidate will cover the Project Finance portfolio which includes Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, and Data Centers.
This position offers high visibility into the front office, working side by side with the origination team on structuring new deals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive credit analysis including cash flow analysis, due diligence, and identify risks and mitigants on Project Finance transactions
- Present credit recommendations to credit committee and key stakeholders for approval
- Conduct period credit reviews to monitor the credit quality of the portfolio
- Participate in meeting with sponsors and stakeholders to support business development
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Credit Risk experience covering Project Finance
- Deep understanding of Project Finance within Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, and Data Centers
- Ability to evaluate industry and macroeconomic trends that impact credit quality
