Title: Associate Vice President, Finance
Location: Washington, DC (hybrid)
Company Summary: A leading global investment firm with a multi-billion-dollar platform is seeking an Associate Vice President to join its Finance team. The firm invests across a diversified set of strategies, including venture, growth equity, private equity, and credit, and operates on a global scale. This role offers meaningful exposure to complex investment structures, fund operations, and senior leadership, providing a strong opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day execution and broader strategic financial initiatives within a dynamic, growing organization.
AVP Finance Responsibilities
- Support deal execution, fund activity, and transaction accounting in partnership with investment teams
- Assist with quarterly valuations (ASC 820) and complex capital structure analysis
- Oversee fund financial reporting and ongoing performance tracking
- Manage fund liquidity, capital calls, and credit facilities
- Calculate returns and carried interest waterfalls
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
AVP Finance Qualifications
- 6-7 years of finance or accounting experience
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CFA preferred
- Prior experience in a PE/ VC environment
