Role Overview
This position oversees general ledger activities and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing accounting functions, preparing reports, and leading a team of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general accounting and financial close processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Develop schedules for auditors and assist with financial statement reviews.
- Support reporting and analysis for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SAP, and SOX 404 controls.
- Train and supervise accounting staff.
Qualifications
- CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting preferred.
- 5-8 years of accounting experience with prior management experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SSAPs, and general ledger systems.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $119,000-$163,000/year.
- Incentive plan eligibility, health benefits, retirement plan with match, stock purchase program, tuition assistance, and paid time off.
