VP Liquidity Risk Manager
A Global Investment Bank that has been growing out their Liquidity Risk Team, is looking to hire a VP level candidate on their Liquidity Risk Management team to oversee a strategic growth initiative around expanding their team.
This individual will provide Liquidity Risk Oversight focused on running calculations and limits daily on a liquidity basis dealing with several different Liquidity processes. These processes include Intraday, Collateral, Secured Funding, PB, Liquidity Buffer, CFP, etc.
The firm is targeting individuals with at least 5 years of experience in either first or second line in Liquidity risk with previous experience in IRRBB being a bonus. Responsibilities:
* Collaboration between liquidity risk and Treasury, along with other lines of business
* Maintain and develop Stress Tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the Liquidity Risk Framework
* Execute defined reporting responsibilities
* Propose alterations to liquidity risk models, including evaluating the reasonableness and functionality of the models.
* Evaluate liquidity processes such as cash flow forecasting, collateral management, and the contingency funding plan along with many others.
* Review product types along with lines of business to assess their effect on liquidity risk
Qualifications:
* 5+ years working in a 1LOD or 2LOD Liquidity function
* Familiarity with at least one of secured funding, collateral monitoring, prime brokerage, intraday liquidity or derivatives
* Skilled in engaging with business units and senior stakeholders across Treasury and the wider bank to drive strategic alignment and support key initiatives.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with senior management
