A leading global independent advisory firm is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its Frankfurt-based Investment Banking team. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile M&A, strategic advisory, capital markets and special situations transactions across Germany and broader Europe, partnering with leading corporates, entrepreneurs, private equity sponsors and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of complex M&A and strategic advisory mandates from origination through completion.
• Manage financial analysis, valuation work, transaction structuring and due diligence processes.
• Oversee Associates and Analysts, providing mentorship and quality control across live deal work.
• Prepare and deliver board-level presentations, marketing materials and client communications.
• Support senior bankers in business development efforts, client relationship management and origination activities.
• Coordinate transaction processes with lawyers, accountants, lenders, investors and other advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop sector expertise and contribute to the growth of key industry coverage areas.

Candidate Profile

• 6-10+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience.
• Strong M&A advisory background gained within a leading investment bank, elite advisory boutique or highly regarded corporate finance practice.
• Deep understanding of valuation methodologies, financial modelling and transaction execution.
• Experience managing workstreams and junior team members within demanding deal environments.
• Strong commercial judgement and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Fluent German and English language skills are essential.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading university with a strong academic record.
