Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Turnaround & Restructuring professional with 15+ years of experience to join its growing team. This individual will play a key leadership role in primarily debtor-side restructuring engagements, providing strategic guidance and hands-on execution across a full suite of services including liquidity management, operational turnaround, stakeholder negotiations, and Chapter 11 advisory.
The ideal candidate will also bring a strong track record of originating new business, cultivating client relationships, and expanding the firm's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex restructuring engagements across diverse industries.
- Develop and execute turnaround strategies, including liquidity forecasting, cost rationalization, and operational improvements.
- Advise clients through in- and out-of-court restructuring processes, including Chapter 11 preparation and execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, boards, and legal counsel.
- Drive business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing new engagements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, tax, valuation, and M&A professionals.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in turnaround, restructuring, or financial advisory.
- Proven success in leading restructuring engagements and managing complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Strong business development acumen with a history of originating and closing new client relationships.
- Deep understanding of bankruptcy processes, financial modeling, and operational restructuring.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and client management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CPA, CFA, or CTP preferred.
Expected Compensation:
Base Salary: $200k - $300k+
All-In: Discretionary Bonus + Origination Fees
