Position Overview
Our client is seeking Associates and Senior Associates with 2-6 years of experience in restructuring, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, accounting, credit analysis, or related disciplines. The successful candidate will work directly with management teams, boards, creditors, investors, and other stakeholders on a variety of restructuring and strategic advisory engagements.
This opportunity offers broad exposure across financial advisory, special situations, distressed opportunities, operational improvement, and capital structure analysis in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation, liquidity, debt capacity, and scenario analyses.
- Analyze business plans, forecasts, and operating performance to assess risks and opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of restructuring, financing, and performance improvement strategies.
- Conduct due diligence and industry research to evaluate strategic alternatives and investment opportunities.
- Assist in distressed M&A, recapitalization, and special situations transactions.
- Prepare client-ready presentations, investment memoranda, and strategic analyses.
- Evaluate stressed and distressed companies through financial, operational, and market analysis.
- Collaborate directly with clients, management teams, lenders, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to drive engagement execution.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth efforts.
- Mentor junior team members and help manage engagement workflows as responsibilities increase.
Qualifications
- 2-6 years of full-time experience in one or more of the following:
- Investment Banking
- Turnaround & Restructuring Consulting
- Transaction Advisory Services
- Corporate Finance
- Accounting Advisory
- Private Credit or Credit Analysis
- Management Consulting
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset with experience interpreting complex financial information.
- Understanding of valuation methodologies, corporate finance principles, and capital structures.
- Experience supporting transactions, restructuring engagements, financing processes, or strategic advisory assignments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analyses and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong academic background with demonstrated professional achievement.

Expected Compensation
Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
Bonus: 30% - 50%
