Job Summary:

As a Senior Wealth Planner, you will play a key role in delivering holistic wealth planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and external advisors to design and implement bespoke strategies involving trusts, insurance, family governance, and succession planning. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a client-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive wealth planning advice, including trust structuring, estate planning, tax optimization, and family governance.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Liaise with legal, tax, and fiduciary professionals to coordinate and implement wealth planning strategies.
  • Educate and support internal stakeholders on wealth planning concepts and regulatory developments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international tax laws, trust regulations, and wealth structuring tools.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services aligned with client needs and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Full STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) membership is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in wealth planning, trust services, or private banking.
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong and international tax, legal, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven experience working with high-net-worth clients and family offices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
  • IIQE (Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination) certification is a plus.
