About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer with strong expertise in React Native to help us build secure, scalable, and delightful mobile applications. This is an evergreen opportunity, meaning we review applications on a rolling basis and will reach out when a suitable opening aligns with your profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mobile user interface components using React Native.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver intuitive and responsive applications.
- Optimize performance and usability across mobile platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in mobile development.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in mobile or front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in React, React Native, TypeScript, CSS, and testing frameworks like Jest.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux) and side-effect handling tools (Redux-Saga).
- Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Detox, Appium, or Maestro).
- Understanding of native iOS and Android development and complex app flows.
- Knowledge of WebSockets and performance optimization techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
