About the Role
Our client, a leading international financial institution, is seeking an accomplished finance professional to join its Finance Change & Transformation team.
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely annual statutory financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local regulations, while driving initiatives that enhance transparency and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to influence accounting policy changes, implement best practices, and contribute to major transformation projects that leverage data-driven reporting solutions. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Sustainability, you will help integrate sustainability frameworks into statutory reporting processes, ensuring the organization remains ahead of regulatory developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver annual statutory financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Implement accounting policy changes and ensure alignment with regulatory updates.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, leveraging data-driven reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Sustainability teams.
- Support the integration of sustainability reporting frameworks into statutory reporting processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering knowledge retention and best practices.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in financial reporting within banking or financial services.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
- Exposure to European banking regulations and multi-country reporting environments.
- Proven experience in change management and finance transformation projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (CSRD, ESRS) is highly desirable.
