About the Role

What You'll Do
- Lead engineering teams in developing systems with demanding requirements around latency, availability, and throughput.
- Collaborate with teams to identify technical challenges and craft effective solutions.
- Equip teams with the autonomy and tools to deploy and monitor their applications independently.
- Apply infrastructure as code and automation to ensure consistency across environments.
- Support team development through mentorship, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong technical foundation in one or more programming languages (experience with Kotlin is a plus).
- Deep understanding of engineering principles and system design.
- Experience in streamlining workflows through automation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and guide decision-making.
- High level of ownership and accountability, with a focus on empowering teams.

This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Full-time remote work is not available.
