Senior Credit Risk Officer (m/f/d)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst in Luxembourg to join a dynamic credit team supporting private banking and asset management activities across multiple European markets. In this role, you will evaluate and approve credit applications, manage complex loan files, and collaborate closely with front-office teams to deliver tailored financing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze credit requests for Lombard loans and mortgages across several European jurisdictions.
- Make decisions on standard credit applications within delegated authority.
- Prepare and present complex loan proposals to internal credit committees.
- Handle ad-hoc requests related to insurance policy financing and redemptions.
- Act as a trusted partner to relationship managers and front-office teams.
- Monitor and report on loan renewals and revisions in coordination with sales teams.
- Organize credit committee meetings, including agenda preparation and minute drafting.
- Respond to audit and regulatory inquiries (internal/external audits, ICAAP, RCSA, etc.).
- Ensure credit policies and procedures remain up-to-date and compliant.
Profile
- Education: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in credit analysis, ideally in private banking with expertise in Lombard and mortgage lending.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with impeccable ethics.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and adaptable with a collaborative mindset.
