Fixed Income Credit Analyst - Investment Grade Team
A leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Fixed Income Credit Analyst to join its Investment Grade team, focusing on TMT and Industrial sectors. This is an opportunity to work with a collaborative, high-performing team in a dynamic market environment.
What You'll Do
- Conduct independent fundamental research and analysis on assigned companies/sectors.
- Develop financial models and provide investment recommendations, credit ratings, and outlooks.
- Perform economic and competitive analysis, financial modeling, and relative value assessments.
- Monitor financial markets, current events, and economic trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Represent research in client meetings and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain industry relationships to ensure consistent information flow.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to support their development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in fixed income strategies (research, trading, portfolio management, or strategy); 6+ years for senior-level consideration.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg.
- Deep understanding of financial accounting, economic theory, global markets, and fixed income products.
- Ability to analyze credit, risk, and valuation with sound decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience analyzing Investment Grade credits.
- Coverage experience in TMT and Industrials (e.g., Media, Telecom, Aerospace/Defense, Diversified Manufacturing).
- MBA and/or CFA designation.
- Strong communication, time management, and financial modeling skills.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, VBA, BQL) and advanced applications of Generative AI.
