Senior Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Luxembourg laws and CSSF standards, covering AIFM obligations, AML/CFT, fund governance, and investor protection.
- Lead and mentor junior compliance and AML/CFT team members, promoting professional development and a solutions-driven mindset.
- Design, maintain, and enhance the firm's compliance framework, policies, and procedures in line with evolving regulations and best practices.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, perform regular reviews, and recommend pragmatic remediation measures.
- Advise senior management and business teams on regulatory implications of new products, strategies, and developments, ensuring a constructive and business-oriented approach.
- Support the Compliance Officer with regulatory filings, notifications, and correspondence; act as deputy during her absence.
- Oversee AML/CFT processes, including investor and service provider due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.
Your Profile
- Minimum of four years' experience in compliance or regulatory roles, ideally within an AIFM, depositary, audit firm, or supervisory authority in Luxembourg.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's regulatory framework, including AIFM Law, CSSF circulars, and relevant EU legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance.
- Structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach, balancing regulatory rigor with commercial realities.
- Confident in stakeholder management, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, regulators, and external partners.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a genuine interest in developing junior talent and promoting a strong compliance culture.
- Fluency in English is essential; German is highly advantageous, and French or Luxembourgish would be a plus.
