Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant

About the Role

A growing private investment organization is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its internal finance group. This position works closely with senior leadership and plays a key role across both corporate accounting and investment fund operations. The individual hired will help oversee financial reporting, investor-related accounting activities, fund transactions, and portfolio oversight while ensuring accurate records and strong financial controls.

This opportunity is well suited for an accounting professional seeking meaningful responsibility, broad exposure to private markets, and a long-term growth trajectory within an investment management environment.

Why This Position Stands Out

Significant Exposure to Leadership

Rather than operating within a large accounting department, this role partners closely with executive management and participates in discussions that influence firm-wide financial planning, reporting, and operational decisions.

Diverse Responsibilities

The position offers involvement across multiple areas of the business, including corporate accounting, fund administration oversight, tax support, investor reporting, audit coordination, and portfolio analytics. Team members are encouraged to develop expertise beyond traditional accounting functions.

Long-Term Advancement Potential

This role is intended for someone interested in building a career within the organization. Individuals who demonstrate strong technical skills, accountability, and business acumen will have opportunities to assume greater leadership responsibilities as the finance function evolves.

Direct Private Capital Exposure

The position provides hands-on experience with investment fund structures, investor capital activity, portfolio company reporting, and financial processes specific to the private equity industry.
