Senior Accountant

On behalf of a multinational real estate organisation, we are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join the regional finance team based in Amstelveen. The team supports a portfolio of commercial properties and corporate entities across several Northern European markets.
Role Overview
The Accountant will be part of a collaborative team responsible for financial operations related to local assets and holding structures. This position offers exposure to cross-border processes and involvement in ongoing finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accounting for a designated commercial property
Manage financial records for a portfolio of corporate entities
Prepare quarterly financial reports for group consolidation
Support internal and external audits
Handle accounting for restructurings, investments, and divestment's
Coordinate with group consolidation and service charge teams
Participate in finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation
Contribute to the harmonisation of accounting practices across regions
Collaborate with the tax function on financial matters
Address complex accounting scenarios such as mergers, capital changes, and liquidations
Candidate Profile
Fluent in Dutch and English
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP
Proficient in SAP and Excel
Strong analytical and project participation skills
Experience in the real estate sector is advantageous
