Quantitative Researcher
We are currently partnered with a a well-established quantitative investment manager looking to add a Quantitative Research Analyst to their systematic equities team. The firm has built a strong reputation through a disciplined, research-driven approach and continues to invest heavily in data, technology, and talent to advance its investment capabilities.
This is a high-impact opportunity to work alongside experienced researchers and portfolio managers on the full lifecycle of alpha generation, from idea creation and testing through to implementation. The team operates in a collaborative, performance-driven environment where strong ideas can directly influence investment decisions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research and develop systematic equity investment models
- Generate and test new alpha signals using a range of datasets
- Apply statistical, machine learning, and quantitative techniques to market problems
- Collaborate with technology and investment teams to implement research into production
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the research process
What They're Looking For
- Background in quantitative or data-driven research
- Strong coding skills and experience working with data at scale
- Exposure to statistical modeling or machine learning methods
- Interest in financial markets is helpful but not required
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
