Private Equity Senior Associate
We are currently working with a well established Private Equity firm that invest within Industrials, Business Services, and Consumer. The firm has been around for many years, raised 10+ funds, and has over $5 Billion in AUM. They're now looking for an experienced Senior Associate to potentially VP1 to join the orgnaization. This role can be flexible on start date and does have the ability to be a career track style opportunity. Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence efforts for potential investments, including market research, financial analysis, operational assessments, and competitive landscape evaluations.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment theses and valuation analyses.
- Participate in deal structuring, negotiations, and execution of transactions alongside senior team members.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, identify value creation opportunities, and support strategic initiatives post-investment.
- Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to drive operational improvements and growth strategies.
- Prepare investment committee materials and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Stay current on industry trends and macroeconomic developments within Industrials, Business Services, and Consumer sectors.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in private equity and/or investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development, with a strong track record of deal execution.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in Industrials, Business Services, and Consumer sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
