Position Summary: Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Credit Associate to join the underwriting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, underwriting, and executing private credit investments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth of our investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and credit risk assessment.
- Underwriting: Prepare detailed underwriting reports and present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee.
- Transaction Execution: Support the structuring and execution of transactions, coordinating with internal teams, legal counsel, and external partners.
- Market Monitoring: Stay informed about market trends and developments, interacting with investment banks, private equity sponsors, and other industry professionals.
- Documentation: Manage the documentation process for new investments and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in private credit, investment banking, commercial baking, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with credit analysis, financial statement review, and industry research.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
