About the Role
We are partnering with a leading technology-driven trading firm seeking a Network Engineer to join a high-performance infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to work on ultra-low latency trading networks and large-scale data center environments, helping design, build, optimize, and support critical network infrastructure that powers global trading operations.
You'll collaborate closely with infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams while gaining exposure to cutting-edge networking technologies in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and support trading and data center network infrastructure.
- Optimize network performance, resiliency, availability, and routing efficiency.
- Execute network migrations, relocations, upgrades, and testing across co-location facilities and data centers.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues in Linux environments, including traffic analysis and TCP/IP performance tuning.
- Develop and enhance network automation, monitoring, and operational tooling.
- Support large-scale routing environments and contribute to low-latency network initiatives.
- Research and evaluate emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of hands-on network engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, including STP and VRRP.
- Deep expertise with OSPF, BGP, and Multicast routing.
- Knowledge of Layer 1/Layer 1.5 networking technologies and Precision Time Protocol (PTP).
- Experience supporting highly available, low-latency network environments.
- Hands-on experience with network automation and NetDevOps practices.
- Familiarity with large-scale data center network architectures, including underlay/overlay networking.
- Experience configuring and supporting enterprise network platforms from major vendors.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as LibreNMS, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with network telemetry, Pingmesh, and In-band Network Telemetry (INT).
- Experience operating large-scale BGP environments in financial services or major technology companies.
- CCIE or HCIE certification.
