Leveraged Finance VP
This clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join their Financial Sponsors Group within the Investment Banking Division. This role offers the opportunity to work with top-tier private equity firms, delivering strategic advisory and capital markets solutions across a wide range of sectors.
As a VP, you will play a critical leadership role in deal execution, client coverage, and team development. You'll work closely with Managing Directors and senior stakeholders to drive origination and execution of M&A, leveraged finance, and equity transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of complex transactions including M&A, LBOs, recapitalizations, and capital raises.
- Manage day-to-day deal processes, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and client presentations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key financial sponsor clients.
- Mentor and manage junior bankers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Support origination efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to pitch development.
Qualifications
- 6-9 years of investment banking experience, with a strong background in financial sponsors coverage.
- Proven track record of transaction execution and client engagement.
- Deep understanding of private equity dynamics, leveraged finance, and capital markets.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
