Junior Fundamental L/S Investment Analyst

- Generate well-supported long and short equity investment recommendations through detailed financial modeling and proprietary research.

- Monitor portfolio holdings actively and provide timely updates.
- Develop a deep understanding of macroeconomic trends, thematic drivers, and company-specific factors influencing portfolio returns.
- Gain exposure to long/short portfolio management principles, including risk sources and optimal portfolio construction.
- Participate in quarterly earnings calls and track relevant news events, updating models as needed.
- Attend industry conferences and management meetings; build relationships with sell-side analysts and research associates.
- Conduct comprehensive bottom-up financial analysis of companies, business models, and industry metrics.
- Evaluate new coverage opportunities and identify key industry trends.
Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Equity Research, Private Equity, Long-only investing, or related fields.
- Strong academic background from a top-tier university.
- Demonstrated passion for financial markets and company analysis.
- Ability to rotate across teams, sectors, and geographies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and familiarity with emerging technologies in investment research.
