With continued deal flow and an expanding client base, the firm is looking to add a Vice President to its Chicago-based Healthcare Services team.

Job Summary We are working with a leading investment bank to identify a Vice President to join their Healthcare Services coverage group in Chicago. This is an M&A-focused role, with the team advising on transactions across the upper mid-market and large-cap space. The ideal candidate will bring significant, direct M&A deal experience, with exposure to the Healthcare sector viewed favorably given the team's coverage focus. This is an opportunity to take on a senior role with direct client exposure, deal leadership responsibility, and a clear path toward Director-level promotion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mandates
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, financial sponsors, and other transaction counterparties throughout the deal process
• Oversee the preparation of pitch materials, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and financial models
• Direct valuation and financial analysis work, including the review of models prepared by junior team members
• Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts staffed on live transactions
• Support business development efforts, including origination activity and client relationship management
• Partner with senior bankers on deal strategy, positioning, and negotiation of key transaction terms

Qualifications

• Significant, direct Investment Banking M&A experience (typically 5+ years), with a track record of executing upper mid-market and/or large-cap transactions
• Healthcare sector experience strongly preferred, though candidates with a strong generalist M&A background will also be considered
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage transaction execution independently and lead junior team members
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus
