Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a high performing, growth oriented investment banking firm specializing in middle market Healthcare transactions. The firm has grown significantly since launching in 2009 and is currently looking for an experienced Managing Director to join their team to assist in their continuous expansion. This individual will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact, and truly take ownership of their own sub-sector within Healthcare.
The Investment Banking Managing Director will be responsible for:
- Driving the origination of new business opportunities within the Healthcare sector, ensuring consistent deal flow and growth of the firm's client base.
- Leading and managing the full lifecycle of transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex healthcare deals.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of healthcare market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities, ensuring the firm stays ahead of industry developments.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior bankers, providing guidance on transaction execution, client management, and professional growth.
- Fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture, ensuring the effective execution of complex healthcare deals.
- Preparing and delivering high-quality presentations and pitch materials to prospective clients, showcasing the firm's capabilities and expertise in the healthcare sector.
The Investment Banking Managing Director should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 8+ Years of experience in Investment Banking, preferably in the Healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of successfully closing M&A and Capital Markets transactions.
- A book of business in the HCIT, Digital Health, MedTech, Behavioral Health, or related subsectors.
