Compensation: $200k - $250k base + competitive bonus

Company Summary: We are currently working with a specialty boutique middle market investment bank looking to add a Managing Director to their active deal team. The firm has done extremely well in their specialized sectors and is ideally looking for an experienced MD to join the team to assist in building out additional sub sectors in their practice. This individual will enjoy the flexibility of working in a remote capacity with occasional travel. The MD will have the opportunity to own and build out a new coverage sector within an established organization with a pathway to partner, and will have immediate access to junior resources for deal execution.
The Investment Banking Managing Director will be responsible for:
- Conducting business development and building a book of business in your specialized sub sector
- Originating M&A transactions
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Leading transactions
- Mentoring junior resources
The Investment Banking Managing Director should have:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in Investment Banking
- Experience conducting business development and/or an established book of business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial acumen
