Gas Scheduler - Midwest Region (Houston, TX - Onsite)
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic and growing team in Houston. As a Gas Scheduler, you will play a critical role in managing daily natural gas scheduling activities, optimizing transportation and storage assets, and ensuring timely and accurate nominations across key pipelines serving the Midwest region. This is a fully onsite position, offering the opportunity to work closely with traders, marketers, and operations teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm gas nominations across multiple Midwest pipelines (e.g., NGPL, ANR, Panhandle, etc.)
- Monitor and manage pipeline imbalances, capacity constraints, and operational notices
- Collaborate with traders, marketers, and counterparties to ensure seamless and efficient gas flow
- Analyze flow data, market conditions, and pipeline dynamics to identify optimization opportunities
- Maintain strong working relationships with pipeline representatives and internal stakeholders
- Support daily and monthly reporting requirements and assist in audit and compliance processes
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling discrepancies and operational issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in natural gas scheduling, with a strong focus on Midwest pipeline systems
- Proficiency in ENDUR is required; must be able to implement and utilize it daily
- Deep understanding of pipeline tariffs, EBB systems, and scheduling platforms
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure trading environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
