Overview:
A leading global multi-strategy investment platform is seeking a Fundamental Equity Cross-Capital Structure Investment Analyst to join an experienced portfolio management team. The role will support investment decisions across equities, credit, and convertible bonds, focusing on fundamental bottom-up research and capital structure opportunities. This is a sector-agnostic position with exposure across Asia and EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bottom-up fundamental analysis on potential and existing investment opportunities across equities, credit, and convertible bonds.
- Develop investment views on corporate issuers, including equity, credit, and volatility assessments.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks to support investment recommendations.
- Identify opportunities across the capital structure and evaluate relative value between equity and credit instruments.
- Generate actionable investment ideas and present research findings directly to the Portfolio Manager.
- Maintain coverage across a broad range of sectors and industries on a generalist basis.
Requirements:
- 3-8 years of relevant experience within Equity Research, Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or related fundamental research functions.
- Experience analyzing corporate issuers across equities, credit markets, or broader capital structure opportunities.
- Equity research, ECM, Investment Banking, or similar analytical background preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and fundamental analytical capabilities.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English.
- Demonstrated ability to cover multiple sectors and evaluate complex corporate situations.
- Strong intellectual curiosity, commercial judgment, and investment mindset.
