Key Responsibilities
The Fund Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of a diverse portfolio. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the month-end close process and reviewing Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
- Reviewing investor allocations and waterfall models
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties
- Coordinating with third-party fund administrators
- Supporting audit and financial statement preparation
- Performing internal control reviews and enhancements
- Contributing to ad hoc projects and process improvements
Ideal Candidate Profile
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-5 years of experience in public accounting (financial services focus), asset management, or fund administration
- Strong academic credentials
- CPA and/or CFA designation (or progress toward) is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and a tech-savvy mindset
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous learning
