The company produces high‑quality industrial and consumer products used by a wide range of commercial customers. They are seeking a Financial Accountant II to take a key operational accounting role within one of the company's U.S. manufacturing plants. This is a high‑visibility opportunity to support plant leadership, strengthen financial processes, and drive operational discipline in a fast‑paced production environment.
Accountant II Key Responsibilities
- Manage month‑end/quarter‑end close, financial reporting, audits, and tax filings.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, standard costs, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for plant leadership.
- Review capital projects, fixed‑asset accounting, and related financial controls.
- Ensure accurate payroll accounting, reconciliations, and period‑end entries.
- Maintain GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate across plant functions while supporting the Controller.
Accountant II Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- MBA or CPA is a plus.
- 5-8 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
