Position Summary

Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director to join its Turnaround & Restructuring practice. This individual will play a critical role in leading client engagements, developing financial strategies, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in turnaround and restructuring, strong financial modeling capabilities, and a collaborative leadership style.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage turnaround and restructuring engagements across various industries.
  • Develop and maintain 13-week cash flow models and other financial tools to assess liquidity and operational viability.
  • Serve as a key member or leader of deal teams, managing client relationships and internal resources.
  • Conduct operational and financial assessments to identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including lenders, legal advisors, and company leadership.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal writing, client presentations, and networking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years in turnaround and restructuring.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, especially 13-week cash flow forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role within a consulting or advisory environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Expected Compensation:

Base Salary $180,000 - $200,000

Discretionary Bonus: 25% - 50%
